Godspeed You!

I was hitchhiking through Germany and lost my wallet + all my loot. Springtime in Heidelberg and sleeping on bridges. When I finally got some cash, the first thing I did was pick up this copy of Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s “Lift Your Skinny Fists like Antennas to Heaven.” It’d be another month before I could take a listen, it being wedged carefully into my backpack full of stinky clothes...
